July Campus Parking & Roadway Construction

Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) is notifying the campus community of several planned parking lot and roadway improvement projects taking place throughout July. These projects are part of ongoing campus infrastructure improvements and may result in temporary parking restrictions, lane closures, and intermittent traffic delays.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow all posted signage and directions from construction personnel.

  • July 7: Demolition and base installation
  • July 8: Curb and ADA ramp preparation and concrete pour
  • July 10: Asphalt installation
  • July 11: Sealcoat application (ADA section closed)
  • July 13: Parking lot striping

  • July 9: Asphalt repairs

  • July 7: Saw cutting

what to expect

  • Temporary parking restrictions in affected lots
  • Short-term roadway and pedestrian detours near active work zones
  • Construction equipment and increased contractor activity
  • Possible traffic delays during work hours

Construction schedules are weather dependent and may change if conditions require.  Continue to monitor the PATS website and official university communications for project updates and any changes to parking or traffic impacts.
